Tracking monthly expenses 3.0
The description for the previous version of the applications is throughout and to the point, so I try to cover the modifications and new features which come with the 3.0 version.
The first screen has changed for better usability, and easier overview on the items.
First screen with menu
The feature which stand out the most is the header, what has now sub-summaries for cash and transfer payments below the full-summary line.
There are new divider lines between the items, names and amount got a slightly bigger font for better readability, and each line has an icon at the right end, which shows what type of payment has to be done for that particular item.
In addition to 1.0 there are two new menu items – import and export – which have been there since 2.0, but because of the minor changes there was no descriptive post about them.
Item edit
The edit screen has the new icons as well, to help connect the pictures in the list to the actual meanings. There was a code correction at this place as well, because an anonymous HTC One X owner was so kind, and submitted a crash report, thus helping me to the bugfix.
I’d like to thank for this act this way as well.
There is one more modification for comfortability. On the settings page the actual sorting method is displayed below the Sorting title, so there is no need to dig deeper into the layers for that.
The application as until now is freely available on Google Play, and I’ll be glad for any thoughts/ideas/criticism (maybe not that much for the latter).
